“MR bond wheels have the become the industry
standard product for edge polishing on glass. For over 20 years they have been fitted to all machine types, long life, good polish quality and ease of use make this the ideal wheel for use by
hand on semi automatic glass grinding machines.
|

|
“MAK” wheels are characterised by their blue
colour and ability to work over a greater range of pressure and speed than the “MR” or “RGPW” bond types. This wheel also produces an excellent finish combined with long life on CNC edge
grinding machines. This product can be used at up to 10m/min on double edgers
|
|
|
“RGPW” wheels are designed to be used on
machines using 60Hz power supplies, slightly softer than the “MR” it is comparable to the “MR” in terms of finish, but can give increased life when used on higher rpm grinding spindles.
Countries using 60 hz power supplies include the USA and some parts of Japan
